MEET THE THUMBS UP PARTY TEAM...
 BECCA absolutely adores her job at Thumbs Up. She especially love the chances she gets to sing and dance for the High School Musical themed parties. Becca is extremely active in her school's drama department and has been playing piano for a year and some change. The quote that she lives by is "Do what you love, and love what you do."
.jpg) JESSICA loves the excitement of each Thumbs Up party and really likes being with the kids at each one. In her free time, you can find Jessica singing, acting, and dancing. She's been dancing for over eight years is has been competing for two. Her fun-loving, energetic personality make her a great Party Assistant!
 MICHELLE's favorite aspect of Thumbs Up Party Planning is seeing how much fun the kids have and the precious smiles on each face during parties. "We have crazy, random, awesome, and such memorable times at every party! Each one is different." When not working a TUPP event, she enjoys running and playing soccer. Michelle's favorite quote is by St. Augustine who said, "Men go abroad to wonder at the height of mountains, at the huge waves of the sea, at the long courses of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motion of the stars; and they pass by themselves without wondering." -This is an awesome quote because even though all those natural wonders are amazing, our own human state and body is even more incredible. Our heart hasn't stopped beating since we were only three weeks in the womb, and we breath, walk, and can move with involuntary thinking. Our bodies are not perfect but God created us to perfectly work together with it.
 SARA's favorite aspect of working with Thumbs Up is the actual planning process and then the day-of happenings. "I love seeing everything come together! I also love that we have so many opportunities to break into doing/offering different things." When she's not planning parties and events, Sara enjoys coaching and playing soccer. One of her favorite quotes is, "Sometimes life may not be the party we had hoped for, but while we're here we might as well dance."
 LAURA is the proud owner of Thumbs Up Party Planning and is thrilled with the response of many smiling children and happy parents. "I believe that each child has something special to offer the world. Because of this, I, like you as a parent, want to recognize them on their special day in a unique, fun, memorable way. It is my pleasure to offer my creations to you. Each and every party is personal to me and it is my commitment to make sure you child has the best party possible!"

Why the name?
Besides the fact that the "thumbs up" signal is universal for "GREAT JOB", two great guys, my husband, Nate, and my Dad, Peter, were the inspiration for the name Thumbs Up Party Planning.
Nate had planned to propose to me during a BIG family gathering over the Fourth of July weekend but had to get my fathers approval first, of course. My Dad, keen to what Nate was up to and quick to take any opportunity to have a little fun, took Nate on a wild goose chase before giving him the time of day. Afterward, as some of us were leaving, but before Nate popped the question, Dad looked at me with a twinkle in his eye and gave me the "Thumbs Up" signal.
